Mentor experience
Professional Development and Supervision of social workers has been a constant core that keeps me grounded to what's really happening in community, since 2004. Supervision is very like mentoring, but with a specialism for people who work with people, including those who work with vulnerable, traumatised and at risk communities. I now also offer my services to social entrepreneurs and anyone wanting to make a positive difference in the world, or wanting to reach their own full potential. Because I have facilitated 'family led change', this naturally extended to the field of 'community led change' and community-led research. In 2019 I won a national award for strengths based research for a participative research project on community identity and belonging.
