Play is crucial for establishing foundations of social, emotional & academic learning. How about a dress-up day in the workplace as well!!

If you want your child to get a good job, let them play more

With automation becoming a risk to the jobs of future generations, playing might provide the education that puts them on top.

And yet, the foundation for all the stuff that Roger is teaching us is that there are innate differences in the ways we do stuff based on our Genius. Maybe the research debunks learning styles, but anecdotal evidence strongly supports the fact that we have learning preferences, which, if a used, keep us engaged with the learning processes a lot longer than if we were engaged in other ways. Of course, we cannot limit others to only one learning framework, but their preferred learning style is a wonderful doorway into the opportunity to touch a life for good. IMHO

Multimodal learning focuses on a blended approach to learning, especially in our contemporary learning environments. I do agree with the research that having only one learning style is outdated, but, as a educator I see blended learning happening with the kids with whom I work.

Totally agree with multimodal learning. I am an expert in teaching children and adults to engage with formal literacy. I use a multimodal approach, and have had amazing results - lots of raving testimonies. We all learn better if all of our senses are engaged at the same time, or we have an opportunity to re-visit the learning through a difference sense-gate.
