Kia ora, are any of you mechanics living in Aotearoa NZ? Bay of Plenty? I'm a supporter looking to connect with a Mechanic when I get back from iLAB early October.

In WD I'm a creator but my secondary profiles are mechanic and star, while steel is my genius. A bit stretching my mind :)

Hi, I came with a result of being a Mechanic, but my Genius is Blaze, which seems accurate since I get easily inspired by actions of other people. Any thoughts?

Your Genius can change over time and be affected by the context in your life at any given time! For example someone that is now a blaze genius- this is her natural genius, but she used to come up as steel genius because the job she worked in required her to do a lot of steel energy tasks - she was also comfortable in that space but it was learned rather than natural. You can be a Mechanic but also be a Blaze Genius if that makes sense for you - you can also retake the test without any distractions and see if it comes up for you again! The Wealth Dynamics test is definitely more accurate and in-depth than the Genius Test.

I totally agree with Kathleen's assessment. I'm a Mechanic. When I was taking the Wealth Dynamics Test, I constantly asked myself, how am I naturally? Not how I would like to be, or wish to be, or think I am. If you are in a room by yourself, with no one looking, and you can truly be yourself, you know how you really are. Taking that approach worked for me because my results as a Mechanic was spot on. I thought for sure I was a Creator before I took the test, but couldn't quite figure out why starting anything from scratch was difficult for me. I am a perfectionist, who’s always trying to tweak or improve something. I just can’t leave it alone. I remember any business opportunity, or job for that matter, I was ever involved in, I instinctively tried to find a better way to do it or create my own system to make it better. My innovations always became more successful for me, then the actual process or system, I started with. I am introverted, and a high achiever. I find processes and concepts more natural to me, then going out, face-to-face, building relationships with people. That’s why I love computers. I tried both, and I was always more comfortable and natural on the process side. Knowing my Seasons has been a huge leap in my Creative Processes. Because to make my Creations really fly, I need that catalyst, I.e., (Winter) Energy, to jump Start my Creative Energy. (Spring) I have always worked in a Tempo Industry and even a few times in Blaze, and in every instance, it just didn’t feel right to me, or it felt like I was swimming up-river. Now that I know my Strengths, Steel & Dynamo, and not saying I can’t play in my weaknesses, I love spending time in what comes naturally to me. I currently have a business in a Dynamo Industry, which allows me to play in both Dynamo & Steel, and I love it. My entry into this business was through a System, and I was able to innovate it, in so many creative ways. For me, it’s like playing in a Sandbox, I have so much Creative fun and freedom. So, I know when you stay true to who you really are, that will reflect in your test results. There’s a huge difference between what feels comfortable and what feels natural. The crossing your arms example, that Roger talks about is exactly what it feels like. I agree, The Wealth Dynamics Test is definitely more accurate and more in-depth than the Genius Test. The Genius Test gave me my Core ability, Dynamo. But what if I had stayed there? What if I had stayed with my own beliefs that I was a Creator? I would have missed out on who I really am or what I’m really about. The only reason I decided to take the test, was because I could relate to both Dynamo and Steel. And that was confusing to me. Like I said, I thought I was a Creator, and couldn’t figure out why I was struggling with a blank slate. I had to get that certainty to figure out why. So, I took the test, and when I came back Mechanic, it was clear as a bell. It was such a relief. Because I said Yes, that’s it! It just explained a lot to me. I went back to my past experiences and could verify everything. When I was the most successful and when I was struggling. It was spot on! So, I would say, if you start the test True, your Results will come out True, and they will be Spot on!

My recent WD result came out as Accumulator, which in my opinion is quite correct. How do I change the header on my profile so that it displays the Accumulator instead of Mechanic?

Go to the Wealth Dynamics Microdegree, there you can submit the new token (the token you got the latest result) and it changes immediately.

Managers use the tools they’re given. Entrepreneurs invent new tools. That’s why Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan just pledged $3 billion to build new tools that will transform disease prevention in the next decade. New tools have always preceded major change: Like the invention of the internal combustion engine, and the creation of the Internet. Major scientific breakthroughs took place after we invented the telescope and microscope. And the fastest … Continued
