Katrina Johnson is a not-for-profit management and leadership mentor and coach. She has over 20 years of experience working in the NFP sector, managing the growth and operations of her beloved charity, CATS Inc, and as Director of her consultancy NewSky Consulting. Her ability to develop organisational and leadership solutions that are process focused, outcomes driven and aligned with values helps managers and new NFP leaders to become solution-focused, positive, congruent, calm, soulful and purposeful in their roles. Katrina combines her formal training with years of experience as a NFP leader herself to help managers move from feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disillusioned with the sector to being able to deliver solutions that align values and practise calmly and professionally. She holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree, is a qualified Quality Management System Lead Auditor, and Workplace Trainer and Assessor. Katrina has served on a range of community and disability organisations Boards of Management. She has been successful in a range of business based awards, including a finalist in the Telstra Young Business Womans Award, Runner up in the Ipswich Professional Women’s Association Young Business Woman of the Year, and winner of the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award (Community Involvement) category. Her leadership of CATS Inc saw it receive a City of Ipswich Medallion in the Australia Day Awards Ceremony in 2016; her success as a Finalist in the local Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year (Business Excellence Awards) 2016; and a short listed nominee as Citizen of the Year in the local Council Australia Day Awards 2017.

Based on receiving and reading numerous posts Katrina has placed on GeniusU, I find her to be a helpful, generous person. Her posts (and comments on others' posts) are highly relevant and to the point. It is obvious that she has true passion and commitment for everything she puts her hand to, and for helping others. I recommend her as a friend and mentor, especially if you are involved in the non-profit sector.
