I was on the phone with Cordelia and her daughter walked in the room and started talking...
And talking...
And talking...
While we were on the phone.
While other parents may scream their heads off, or take out frustration on their kids.
Cordelia kept calm and said something like, “Hun I hear you talking to me, but I’m not able to be fully present with your right now because I’m on a call. Let me get back to you.”
And I thought, “Wow. That’s Mindful Parenting! I’d like to learn how to do that!”
