  Honestly, all prices here seem to be too high for the clientele I feel called to serve. As I've heard from Roger, the main target customer of GeniusU is one that has an income of at least $40K. Nothing wrong with that. It's just good to know

  Lance, what I tend to do is package a TDYP profile in with a workshop (e.g. full day) and/or a series of virtual sessions (e.g. 1 hour over a week). The price of the token is included in the budget for the event. Then, during the event I make a 'special' offer for a debrief. So, the amount you have mentioned above is effectively spread over, at least, two opportunities.

  When you say "limited number of expense categories" I need you to tell me three things: What sheet you are looking at What types of expenses you feel are limited A specific question such as "I don't know what to put in this row and column" The timeline is to map three separate things for each product or service: Work out how much extra you want to charge someone for not paying you upfront. Each type of payment plan has challenges - only upfront means you may not make the sale, subscriptions may go on for a long while and potentially require less paperwork but the cash flow takes a whole year to come in - fine for a highly leveraged product but not great if you have to pay people. So typically a premium would be added for deferring some payments... typically it is referred to as a discount for upfront payment but I am getting you to set the upfront payment as the base level and add penalties which would be anywhere up to 20%. The first section for each one looks at your potential types of payment plans for your products. This is to give you the opportunity to understand the timing of cash flow. With each type of payment plan, you are mapping the expected dates you would receive income for that product. The second section is the cost of sales for that product. That is, the materials and labour costs you have that you pay someone directly for delivering that product. If you have team doing delivery and they are on salary then put them in as an expense. If you have team working on an hourly rate only when required to deliver something, then put them in the cost of sales. Then you show when in the cycle of that service you would pay that person. When you have done these things then you can go to the end column and see which pricing plan is optimal for you. It will be a balance between how much you can ask for upfront and how long you need to wait for your money. A cash cow will show a negative number in the final column. If all of the numbers in that column are high positives then you are bank rolling your customer purchases. In Line1 - Fancy widget << -10 >>- Upfront I have a cash cow. The money is coming in approximately 10 days prior to when I need it to go out In Line 5 - Fancy Widget << 162 >>- weekly subscription, I have a cash bleed. I need to fund this particular person's purchase to 162 days before I am fully paid and I have incurred all of the costs back in the early parts of the engagement. Therefore if you have a subscription basis and there are significant costs to set someone up in the subscription, you may consider a Payment plan with a big enough chunk to cover costs early in the process followed by a maintenance payment every week.

    It really depends on the wording... you don't label it as a penalty, you label the upfront as a special offer. That way they are making the decision. You could look at the number of working capital days... if over say 2 credit card cycles, know that if that is how you are funding it, then you are paying 16-20% for that to be on your credit card because you have had to pay suppliers
