Here’s our featured client, Jacques de Villiers. He’s a legacy writer, with his own memoir and having ghost written 12 books, a veteran speaker with over 10 years in the business. We did his logo design, colour profiles, doodles and header images for his website. He creates his own social media pics

Hello! Just a note to share that things are wonderful. Secured a second client for Artistic Brand Expressions through our first client (who is WINNING and attracting his ideal clients), created a new series of work for an exhibition in August & a digital piece print will be auctioned in NY. Thanks Duncan. I’ve had some incredible support to build my path along the way from my coach and mentor Rita Juse-Cirkse . The world can open up if we do. And sometimes we can make that a bit easier by having a great guide.

Hi everyone. So I didn't realize the time was Singapore time and not UK time. So my diary is upside down. Will there be a recording at all and is a place we can submit for commentary afterwards? Perhaps in a google sheet? I'd love the interaction but I can't move this deadline today.

On commitment, what are your thoughts on commitment? Feeling “stuck” vs being stuck, and personal choice? This post had me asking so many questions. : https://www.linkedin.com/posts/mariyaradysh_rockinggrowthattitude-activity-6671181975623131136-U8En

Hey Yvette thank you for sharing. I believe the word "stuck" fits perfectly with not have made a decision yet. What I mean, we often say yes we want something, but haven't fully made the decision yet so we use willpower to move us forward, however there is only that much willpower and you oon you run out. If you made a decision and are committed to it, not doing is no longer a choice. It's easier to be 100% on a decision that 90% :)

Thanks for sharing here Paulina :) I decided to post this here, these thoughts as I have been doing two entrepreneur courses at the same time. Sometimes I feel stuck- not that it is a question of commitment- but the right fit. After the first bit of the CLA course in doing the WHY, and loads of coaching too- I have looked at the view from the outside and inside. Am I not committed or consciously choosing what fits better at any given moment? ;Like you said, it's no longer a choice. And this can applied to many things- even the decision to move forward in this time. And perhaps maybe being or feeling stuck, is just a space where you are reassessing your WHY and aligning what matters to it. And maybe moving "forward" is just bringing those two together, your why and all the behavior and actions that align to it. Well, perhaps :)

I found this to be a great chance to learn about leveraging #disruption & creating your own new normal. I loved Corrinne Armour ‘s response to what I’ve been hearing around “going back to normal “. You can be part of the discussion tomorrow. https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_qDYfQnCqRfO0puki0spvvQ

Welcome! You are invited to join a webinar: Leverage Disruption. Creating your own new normal after COVID-19. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the webinar.

“When things get back to normal, we will …” Sorry to disappoint you - things won’t be going back to normal. They can’t. We have changed, our organisations have changed, the world has changed. There will be a ‘normal’… But we won’t be going ‘back’ to it. It will be a New Normal. And we get to choose if it’s a DEFAULT NEW NORMAL that indiscriminately picks up behaviours, beliefs and practices from the past and present and merges them to build a default approach to work and community. OR if we CREATE our own NEW NORMAL, harnessing the opportunities resulting from the COVID-19 disruption, and bringing the best of the past and present to create the future. Like you, Corrinne wants to learn from this experience, and come out of it wiser than she went in. Join her and explore this important topic. She expects your conversation will traverse: • The four stages of normal • The key leadership focus of each stage • The three questions to ask to identify opportunities • Leapfrogging obstacles and harnessing Fearless Leadership® to create your new normal This is a working lunch, so bring your sandwich or sushi, and a notepad or tablet to scribble on. Now is the time for Fearless Leadership. NOTE that this conversation won’t be shared afterwards, so if you want to be part of it, put the time and date in your diary. You will also receive Corrinne's fortnightly blog – it’s a jolt of leadership thinking people describe as ‘motivating’, ‘encouraging’, ‘challenging’, ‘succinct’ and ‘like it was written just for me’! If your inbox is already overwhelming, you can easily unsubscribe at any time via the bottom of each eNews. (Of course if you do that Corrinne will be devastated - and then she'll get over it quickly!)

If there’s one thing you can be consistent with, it is showing up as you are. We took my 1 digital painting, & additional individually painted elements and really created a cohesive presence online. You’ll notice the charcoal medium. See how we turned 1 painting into a full expression online

Magical things happen when you start to ask, “what if?” That’s what I asked when I shared my idea with Jo. I asked “what if I use my brand colors and create an abstract painting”. She showed me what my office could look like by using the power of digital. I love charcoal so I used it as my medium.

Good thinking Yvette Hess - tagging circles is a "balancing act" ;-) But as long as you make the post relevant to the specific topic of the circle, you should be OK - make it "personal"/aimed at the members there.
