Could you please share more details about this project? I'm wondering what species are planted? Goals for the project? Types of uses - like educational, scenic, tourist, food production, etc?

The project is called PTT reforestation institute, mainly for education and tourist purpose. Plants are planted randomly to reflect true forest area which cover around 4.7 acres. Since Bangkok is ranked high as densely populated country in the world, the company (PTT) wants to increase environment awareness not only as its own CSR but also Bangkokian. There are more than 200 species of plant with several type of tree, shrub or herb. For detail, please see http://www.pttreforestation.com/Plant.cshtml (no official English language information, only species name)

Thank you - this information is excellent and exactly what I wanted to know. I'll use google translate for the website. I've been to Thailand 2 times already, and would like to see this when I return next time, possibly in January 2020. My passion is to design and create these forest environments and vertical farming in urban environments.

There are several set-up forest environment in Thailand like this in Bangkok area and industrial province in Rayong, but both are for corporate and education purpose. Since Thailand is not widely urbanized across country, industrial purpose of vertical farming may not be worthy unlike vertical food garden in which Thai startup sell through retail urban people

You're welcome. I am also interested in growing green in urban environment. However, there is not much urbanized area in Thailand.
