By enabling teams at every level to use the right data at the right time, it will assist with better decision-making and can increase our competitive edge.
A Data Ninja tracks, measures and provides data reports, interprets data and turns it into information which can offer ways to improve marketing and sales efforts for the business. Data Ninjas are allocated to specific promotions and/or pathways that generate revenue for the business and it is their responsibility to work with the promo Project Manager to ensure that promo pathways are thought through using available data, created, set up and tracked correctly. Data needs to be available and up to date daily in order to allow PM's to change any of their strategies in real time.
A data ninja loves numbers and the data, and will excel by performing from an exquisite and analytical nature. Tracking the conversion % in an entire journey from Followers > Community > Prospects > Clients, the data ninja needs to be able to report on data and findings to both the PM and other team leaders. On the data team, every data ninja has the opportunity to make recommendations about the methods and ways in which the company obtains and analyses data to improve the quality and the efficiency of our data systems.

2. Curiosity: A data ninja must be able to look for the meaning or the “why” behind the numbers. With an insatiable drive to discover actionable insights, the data ninja must constantly ask questions and search for solutions.
3. A strategic perspective: A data ninja must be able to dig into the numbers without losing sight of the bigger picture. A data ninja has to keep the goals and outcomes top of mind, and yet still be able to use the data to serve the company in the best way they know how.

5. Continuous learning: A data ninja has to continue learning more and more about the systems that they are using and go beyond the numbers at times in order to find better and easier ways to get the job done for the greater good of all on the team. A data ninja is proactive and chooses to stay one step ahead of the rest of the company in order to be of greatest service.
6. Statistical and technical expertise: A data ninja must be able to interpret data with critical analysis without bias or expectation, as well as a deep understanding of tools, formulas and models that comes from hands-on experience.
