As purpose driven entrepreneurs who are deeply passionate
about supporting local businesses and helping them thrive we
thought the best way we could do that would be to start
building a community of like minded individuals who want to
build genuine connections and help each other to succeed.
WHAT
Byron Shire ES will form part of a global community of more
than 900,000+ innovative, creative and social entrepreneurs to
engage and connect with like minded people who value
collaboration and problem solving at the highest level. Our
mission is to help achieve the United Nations Global Goals by
creating a space for impact driven entrepreneurs to connect to
the right knowledge, network and opportunities.
All Entrepreneur Social events follow the same general format
across the world 20-min Speaker + 20-min Q&A + 60-min
Networking Session. Entrepreneur Social Speakers are social
entrepreneurs who are impact driven and are doing something
to make a difference in the world. They have found a way to
create ongoing flow towards profit and purpose and have a
story worth telling because they are impacting one or more of
the 17 Global Goals and they are on an entrepreneurial journey
to make this happen.
WHO
The event is for anyone who is interested in entrepreneurship
and social impact and would like to network in a relaxed social
environment with other locally grown professionals and
business owners, to share success stories, challenges faced
and discuss the strategies that will propel us forward
WHO IS SPEAKING THIS MONTH
Adam Collett Managing Director of Unity Earth
Adam Collett is a community strategist, event producer, creative director and social impact designer from Byron Bay, Australia. Inspired by his mother’s stories from the 1969 Woodstock Festival, Adam has been on a lifelong pursuit to inspire change through transformative events and community initiatives that have the power to deliver tangible outcomes on a local and global scale.
Working closely with First Nations elders, global youth leaders, and ecological innovators, Adam is dedicated to combining innovative models and technologies with a deep respect for the culture of local people and places.
As Operations Manager, Adam is humbled and inspired to be applying everything he has learned to support the UNITY EARTH mission and network around the world.
