The best way to fight hunger is food. To avoid that, we need to build food trucks or restaurants or even small food stalls near schools, squatter areas etc.

Dear Cedric, I get your point and I agree that this could be a means, however, I was lucky enough to personally meet Boutros Ghali Secretary-General of the United Nations from January 1992 to December 1996. He used to say: “do not give a man a fish every day, but teach him how to fish then you will make sure he will never be hungry”. We need to help and support but we need also to empower and avoid creating dependency on external help. Maybe we could enrich your idea by running cooking courses or teaching how to work/run a restaurant so that those benefiting from it also help it, support it and learn a profession. I hope you will comment on my thought and maybe we could open a discussion on this. Best regards, sincerely, David

This is a great response as you have built on the basic idea of providing food for others into giving the means for others to provide for themselves. I have chosen this cause because we are launching a Thai Food business and are considering running cooking courses as well as running our own restaurant.
