If happiness is representative of Christmas, then Shonette not only sounds like Christmas but she looks like it too! However….she couldn’t make it at Christmas as the government of Dubai asked her to come over on official Happiness duties (we’ll let her tell you more about that).....so we figured if she can’t be here in time for Christmas, then she’d be perfect for OUR BIRTHDAY!

We are officially 2 years old! WAHOOO….CAKE!

Hailing from Middlesbrough, Shonette is the first and only example we know, of a successful teacher, turned entrepreneur, turned comedian, equally as funny as she is savvy.

Originally a school teacher she became disempowered by the education system and so after one fateful day involving bodily fluids (another story she can share herself!) she decided that enough was enough, something had to change, and the Happiness Project was born.

Fast forward to 2019 and Shonette alongside a renowned doctor of happiness, founded The Happiness Festival, dedicated to bringing more joy into the world, she has also been invited, as mentioned earlier, to speak to the government of Dubai about bringing her happiness projects and workshops to their countries curriculum as well as flying all over the globe, training teachers in happiness 101.

Shonette will happily tell you herself that she was born with too much happiness, something that is difficult to comprehend as you read this but watch any of her videos and you’ll begin to get a flavour of the infectious energy and fun this wonderful woman exudes and what it’s like to be around her.

In business, she spreads a message of “Permission To...” bringing childlike curiosity and acceptance into the workplace. To create a culture where people engage more, with lifted moods, cultivating an overall more harmonious workspace for all.

For our last birthday we bought internationally brand builder and visionary woman Sammy Blindell to MES...and lots of cake.  Well we’re keeping the international reach the same but upping the fun factor...and the cake factor.

Shonette is like no other entrepreneur we know and certainly worthy of anyone’s Birthday, child or not.  We will be showcasing cakes from suppliers across Manchester bringing their best vegan and gluten free cakes to knock your taste bud socks off.

The new wave of business is with us now, how we operate, what we accept, who we choose as our team, at CATORI through our monthly socials we aim to bring you best examples of how this is being done.

LOGISTICS AND COSTS 

Located in the Northern Quarter of Manchester. Leave the car at home and use Manchester’s clean, above ground metro to transport you or if that’s not possible then there is off road parking. You never know, after a few meetings you might be the source of transport for your own cluster of Entrepreneurs creating your own impact, reducing carbon emissions. 

To help make the Entrepreneur Socials accessible to people in all stages on their journey, we do our best to keep these events as low cost as possible. 

Meetings are complimentary however we are committed to making these events 'Events for Good' so ask for a £5 donation to create impacts across the globe to help the world rise together.
