WHO HAVE WE GOT FOR YOU THIS MONTH??
When did you start your entrepreneurial journey?
When did you even learn what it was to be an entrepreneur, let alone think or realise you were one?
There is no one type of Entrepreneur.
They come In all different shapes and sizes.
There is no single box to fit them into.
…This particular one, comes with 150 chickens eight ducks, three micro pigs, sixteen geese, two hamsters, started at eight years old and a couple of weeks ago not only officially became a teenager but did it with a business plan and some net assets!
Entrepreneurs For Good is humbly honoured to host our first Youngpreneur :) sharing her story for the first time, Emily Livesey, who has single-handedly grown her egg and fresh farm foods over the last five years...with a little elbow grease and support from her parents of course and a lot of chicken coop building from dad.
For her eighth birthday her parents asked her what she wanted, expecting the usual, toys games... but no. She told them she wanted a greenhouse to grow plenty of fruit and vegetables and pre-warned them next year... she wanted chickens.
Over the next 5 years her farm and customer grew, people had to reserve and put their name down ahead of time. Emily had to structure a deal with a local farmer to regularly buy the eggs he couldn’t sell so she could meet demand.
Emily is a delightful young girl, full of life with a warming smile. You can see the care, attention and love that she gives to all the animals on her farm and for someone so young she has learnt so much about her practise and has a wonderful presence to speak to.
Many of us would agree that there is much we can learn from those younger than ourselves and Emily is no exception.
Every business and business owner has a life cycle. There are many examples of companies on the edge until innovation provides resurrection and breathes new life into them. Whether you have been on your Entrepreneurial journey for years or just starting now, we invite you to come to listen and share Emily’s story and reignite the spontaneous, curious, never-ending childlike energy that still inside all of us and find where it can be applied in your business.
As people’s attitudes around the world are evolving, businesses will be the reflection of this change and society will reap the reward. Todays Entrepreneurs will lead the new wave of businesses of the future, driven with purpose, creating a positive social legacy.

WHERE WILL IT BE
Chapter One Books, Chatsworth House, 19 Lever Street, Manchester, M1 1BY
Whilst still making use of Manchester's central urban community venues, this is a bookshop with a difference. Family founded and run Chapter One is pushing back on the trends of bookshop closure to create a space that is inspiring and community driven.
Yet another creative space that we feel is perfect for Manchester very own Entrepreneur community to meet up, connect and learn.
LOGISTICS AND COSTS
