Every second, 4 new versions of ransomware are released. Every 19 seconds a small business in the UK is successfully hacked.

But by far the biggest threat to businesses now comes from Social Engineering scams!

When data breaches occur, such as when Zoom, EasyJet, Adobe, Yahoo, British Airways or Talk Talk were compromised, your email addresses and passwords are posted on the Dark Web for sale to whichever hacker wants to buy them.

in 2019, eCrime by far outstripped all other forms of crime both in terms of volume and cost. It is a real and very serious threat.

In this talk, learn to recognise and deal with it.

Originally from South Africa, Francis West has spent nearly 30 years in the UK delivering IT and cyber security solutions to businesses. In 1993, Francis launched FWCS Support, an IT support company providing solutions for the recruitment, estate agents and education sectors, building the company into a £1.2 million business.

In 2010, Francis launched Westtek Solutions with the aim of redefining IT Support to the SME sector. Through hard work and innovation, he has formed strategic partnerships to provide comprehensive support and cutting-edge cyber security solutions. In 2012, he won Innovator of the Year from the South African Chamber of Commerce.
