Leeds is proud to host its first Entrepreneur Social as part of the Entrepreneur Institute community dedicated to educating and connecting people interested in entrepreneurship and social impact. 

It is a monthly event designed to connect Leeds very own vibrant community of Entrepreneurs, Thought Leaders, Change Makers and Do Good'ers with the very latest tools for accelerating trust and flow in your lives to create a bigger, long lasting impact on the world.

Each social we will be inviting a successful Entrepreneur to share their story, their triumph, their woe’s, lessons and actions to take away. Think TEDx style presentations crossed with open discussions to dig deeper into the juicy stuff.

All this surrounded by a supportive network of peers in a relaxed environment to nurture your mind, body and soul.with plenty of time afterwards to stay for drinks and widen your personal circle of friends, share resources and form collaborative partnerships

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The event is open to anyone who is interested in entrepreneurship and social impact and would like to network in a relaxed social environment with other professionals and business owners, to share success stories, support one another and discuss strategies.

GUEST SPEAKER - Steve Conley

An entertaining speaker with plenty of insights into navigating the ‘murky world’ of finance and inspiring other values based organisations, thought leaders and entrepreneurs with growing businesses.

Steve is an ambassador for the transparency task force, and leader of its market integrity team. He is changing the international financial services industry with introduction of a new quality standard for codes of conduct. It is putting values back into the money industry.

His ‘day-job’ is running one of the UK's largest full service auto-enrolment consultancies with a partnership network of over 700 business adviser firms. WPD has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Professional Services category of the Yorkshire Business Masters Awards for 2017.

As a chartered insurance professional, qualified and active financial adviser, pensions transfer specialist and a background in investments with some of the world’s largest banks, Steve has a detailed understanding of the way things work and affect growing businesses.

He now spends much of his time travelling around the world talking to entrepreneurs about how to launch and grow values based organisations, and practice values based leadership. Steve is an executive and non-executive director on several boards of values-based organisations within the Financial Services and Charity sectors, and the founding director of Values Based Adviser.
