Are you reviewing your Profit & Loss Report AND Balance Sheet every month? Both reports are equally as important. With your P&L you want to increase turnover and reduce expenses through operational efficiencies and on the Balance Sheet you want to grow your net wealth position. Are you on track?

Cash in your bank is not profit. Bookkeeping and accounting are often confused with what I call "Bank Accounting". Checking your bank balance and being in the black does not mean your business is profitable. When was the last time you looked at your sales dashboard, P&L and Balance Sheet?
